So we were out and about on a rainy saturday and decided to pop in here for some lunch. Now this was the first time I have eaten here, and let me say it will not be the last. from the moment we walked in the door the staff was amazing. From explaining that their meat is ground fresh daily, the fries are cut fresh when you order them, they really were super helpful in helping us decide on what to get. Pay close attention to the sign they have right inside the door... "we are a restaurant and not fast food" they don't have premade burgers and fries just laying around under a warmer and throw it in a sack. they cook your burger and fries when you order them so you know it is going to be extremely fresh, hot and tasty! Now let's talk about those Pies.. they have daily "samples" to help you decide on which one to get. when we ordered ours, I was able to walk up to the counter and see them make it right there, so you know everything was as fresh as it could be. We tried the Strawberry cream, Peach, Cherry, Coconut and Chocolate Peanut Butter. I honestly can't say which one was my favorite because they were all so so good. We got ours "to go" and just placed them in the oven for a few minutes that night to warm them back up and they were fantastic. If you are in Searcy and you've got a craving for a really good homemade burger and Pie... you will not be disappointed if you pop in here for a bite to eat. A all around. We'll be back for sure.
A big shout out to Dillion for giving my husband and I a wonderful history and description of the restaurant. He is an excellent salesman, very kind in helping us pick out our perfect fried pie. The restaurant was clean and orderly, a testament to the hardworking staff. Do not hesitate to order a fancy pie or burger, you will not regret it.
I love when a place makes me want to leave a review lol. TL;DR- good for plain cheeseburger lovers, well seasoned homemade fries, ranch is super tasty, pie was soft and wasn't too sweet. Today my husband and I ate here around 10 or 11 and it was so gooddddd!! I'm a plain cheeseburger gal, and my burger was so yummy!! It wasn't dry, the seasoned fries were seasoned perfectlyyy, the ranch was so good, and the cheesecake pie I got was so soft, not too sweet, and scrumptious!!! Nothing was so salty that it made me feel icky, but it wasn't under salted by any means. The seasoning on the fries is kind of sweet at the end which I like a lot, you get to choose between different cheeses for burgers, and I seriously cant recommend the ranch enough. Also also you don't have to ask for a to go box!! They just hang out near the front which I liked a lot. 11/10, will absolutely eat again. ALSO WAIT REAL FAST THE FRIES ARE DEFINITELY HOMEMADE BUT THEYRE NOT JUST POTATO!! and they weren't all weird and dry and gross when I reheated them later. Just like their sign says “Hands down the best burger in town”! I don’t know how I managed to come at a time when they weren’t busy yet. But in the short time I’ve been here people have started pouring in. The burger was great! Fries were cooked to perfection, not too soft, not too crunchy, just right! And the apple fries pie - it’s rare to find one this good! Next time I’m in town, I’ll be back for sure!
Classic American burger joint with burgers cooked to perfection, regular or seasoned fries, and fried pies for dessert! I have a gluten allergy, so I can’t have the pies, but after speaking with the owner a few weeks ago and learning that the Searcy and Conway locations have gluten free buns and a dedicated fryer for French fries, I finally made it over to Burgers, Fries and Pies to try it out for myself. I was expecting a “Huh?” when I asked for a gluten free bun and fries but the cashier was knowledgeable and confirmed that yes the fries are in a dedicated fryer and they have gluten free buns (even though I did not see the option on the menu board). The bun is really great. Much better than Chick-fil-A’s, and I enjoyed my burger much more with this bun than without one (like other local hamburger options). The atmosphere is a classic 50’s feel with a checkerboard floor and vintage signage.
I cant compliment enough about this place. I absolutely love it!! Its the best burger out there!! Everything is great here!! Go and Enjoy you won't be disappointed at all!!
